I put this piece together in Illustrator to help capture the neon 80's retro motif that has become extremely popular lately. I've always loved the design of the 80s, with its bright pastel colors and focus on shape and sharp edges. There's something fascinating about the conspicuous consumption of the 80's as well - a better time of sun, surf, sand, and endless blue and pink waves.
